Frequently Asked Questions
What happened to the remodelling system?
The old remodelling system was removed from NA Tera in the first half 2014, following similar changes in K-Tera. It was replaced with the Fashion Coupon system, in which many of the 'old' armor looks were reintroduced as costume templates, along with a couple of new ones (as an example, the Ornamental costume appearance could not be remodelled onto another piece of armor prior to the removal of the system). The remodelling NPC was removed at this time and a new currency was introduced which could be used to buy the 'new' costume items.

What are Fashion Coupons?
Fashion Coupons are the 'currency' used to purchase costume templates in game. Costumes that can be bought with them are all listed on this site, however, they cannot be used to buy the Cash Shop specific costumes such as the Pirate outfits or the School Uniforms. All of the Fashion Coupon templates are basically one-piece costumes based on older armor sets that are available in game.

How are they obtained?
Fashion Coupons are gained in two main ways: through killing BAMs, or through the IMS (instance matching system). To obtain them from instances you need to queue for the instance through the instance matcher; premade groups do not receive coupons in the mail unless at least one member has been pugged through the IMS.
Free players receive 5 coupons in the mail at the end of each successful instance run, whilst Elite players receive 10 per successful run. BAMs also have a chance to drop Fashion Coupons in various amounts, with BAMs of level 58 and higher (not including the Fate of Arun BAMs) dropping stacks of 10, and lower level BAMS dropping lower quantities depending on their level. The Giants in Lorcada and the Kumas' in Scythera Fae have a chance to drop 10 coupons each and are popular farming spots for people trying to collect coupons in a hurry. Some higher level instances such as Kelsaik's Nest (5-man), Balder's Temple, Manaya's Core and Argon Corpus can be soloed by level 65 characters or run with a pre-made group, and the bosses inside do occasionally drop Fashion Coupons. You do not need to queue for these instances through the IMS to get the coupons to drop from the bosses inside, but you will not get the 5/10 coupons in the mail for completing the instance. Still, if you are able to solo Kelsaik for instance, it can be a useful way to farm coupons by yourself, especially if the other popular farming spots are busy. Additionally, EME has held events in the past in which boxes of Fashion Coupons (200 per box) were purchasable from an event vendor, but this has yet to be repeated. Some of these boxes are occasionally to be found on the broker, usually for around 30k gold each (at the time of writing). |
How do i access the fashion coupon store?
To see and purchase items with your Fashion Coupons simply right click the coupon stack in your bag. A vendor window should open, within which you can browse for the item you wish to buy. To preview items simply control-right click on whatever you wish to view.
There is no NPC vendor for Fashion Coupons or costumes. |
Are the templates permanent?
Yes. All templates purchased using the current Fashion Coupons are permanent items. They do, however, become soulbound to the character you equip them to, so be careful with your purchases. You won't be able to move the costumes from character to character once bound.
Side note: there was an event in April 2014 in which different types of Fashion Coupons could be farmed (Luxurious, Elegant, Stylish and Fantastic Fashion Coupons). Anyone who still has any of these should note that the costumes bought with them are time limited items (30 days each). These 'older' coupons are no longer obtainable. |
How much do the templates cost?
Templates vary in cost from 100 to 500 coupons each. This site has been organized to show them by price as well as by race, gender and armor type.

Are there any templates in game that Don't require fashion coupons to purchase?
Yes. There are currently three other templates available in game which do not require Fashion Coupons to purchase.
The Black Label costumes, which cost 7000 Bellicarium Credits (PVP currency), are sold by the Bellicarium vendor. And there are also the 24-Karat Gold and the Sterling Silver ensembles which can only be purchased now from other players. The Gold and Silver ensembles can only be obtained via the broker and/or from other players as the items needed to create them are no longer obtainable in game. You can either buy the completed ensemble costume from the broker, or the individual parts (glove, boot and chest armor pieces) and combine them using the recipe purchased from Tikat, the Federation Bills merchant. |
