About Tera Templates
This site is intended to serve as a visual guide to the template and costume system in Tera online. It houses a collection of screenshots showing what each costume template looks like on each race and gender, organized according to armor type and price.
Costumes in Tera online come in two forms: those purchased in the Cash Shop for EMP, and those which can be earned in game through collecting and spending Fashion Coupons.* Tera Templates covers the latter, and here we have compiled a collection of screenshots showing all of the costumes which can be bought for Fashion Coupons on each race and gender to give people an idea of what armors are available and how much they cost.
Tera Templates was originally built back when armor items below level 58 could be used to transform the look of other pieces. Under the old remodelling system any piece of armor of level 58 and below could be taken to a remodelling NPC and combined with another piece, allowing people to create the look they wanted for their character without sacrificing the stats on the items they were wearing. This site was created to help people find and identify the armor pieces they needed to create a particular look.
The original remodelling system was removed in early 2014 and replaced with the new Fashion Coupon system, which took out this option but introduced the ability to equip the 'old' armor looks as costume skins which function in the same way as the Cash Shop ones (they are worn in a specific 'costume' slot, rather than taking up an armor slot). It is a little more limited than the old system as the costumes are full sets now and the boots and gloves can no longer be interchanged, but people no longer lose the template in the process of remodelling which makes switching between looks easier.
It has taken some time to do, but Tera Templates has been recently reorganized and updated to match the new system. All old pages have been removed and all screenshots reorganized to show the new Fashion Coupon items instead of the now-defunct remodelling armors.
*Note: This site does not cover costumes bought in the Cash Shop, but only those which can be earned for free, simply by playing the game.
